56. Verb + ing or to … 1 (call back/ regret etc.)

You remember doing something subsequently y'all have washed information technology. · I know I locked the door. I clearly call up locking information technology. (=I locked it, and at present I recollect this) · He could recall driving along the road just before the accident, only he couldn't remember the blow itself. | I remembered to exercise something= I remembered that I had to exercise it, and so I did it. You retrieve to do something earlier you do it. · I remembered to lock the door, but I forgot to shut the windows. (= I remembered that I had to lock it, and so I locked information technology) · I must remember to pay the electricity bill. (= I must not forget to pay it) | regret | I regret doing something= I did information technology and at present I'm pitiful about it: · I now regret saying what I said.
